Our commitment to sustainability is holistic: it spans the materials we choose, the processes we produce with and the wellbeing of the people who make every textile possible.
Through responsible sourcing we work with suppliers who certify their inputs: fabrics, fibers and down with verifiable origin and traceability, which reach our references with their own seals.

EcoVadis, the world's largest provider of business sustainability ratings, assessed Distrihogar on four themes: environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. We scored 77 out of 100, in the 91st percentile: among the top 15% of companies rated worldwide.

Responsible raw materials
We choose raw materials with verifiable origin and traceability, and favor recycled fiber: more than 90% of the fiber in our products with synthetic filling comes from recycled PET and polyester.
Wellbeing of our team
65% of our team are women, and 40% of them are heads of household, as part of a high-impact social project with the La Once Foundation.
Efficient use of resources
We optimize water and energy use in production; currently, 49% of our operations center runs on solar energy. We also design longer-lasting textiles to reduce replacement and textile waste.
Inputs certified at the source
Our fabrics, fibers and down come with third-party certifications such as OEKO-TEX, GOTS, Down Pass and Egyptian Cotton, which vouch for their textile safety, origin and traceability.
Responsible sourcing, traceability and certified inputs
Our commitment to sustainability is reflected in the materials we choose, the suppliers we work with and the seals our inputs carry.
As part of our responsible sourcing practices, we work with suppliers who certify their inputs. Those certifications vouch for aspects such as textile safety, organic cotton, the authenticity of Egyptian cotton and the ethical traceability of down, and they travel with the references made from those inputs.
In addition, more than 90% of the fiber used in our products with synthetic filling comes from recycled PET and polyester, turning recovered materials into new rest experiences.

Seals on our inputs
These seals come with the raw materials: we source fabrics, fibers and down from suppliers who certify their inputs. Each certification covers the input that carries it and travels with the references made from it; it is not a certification of Distrihogar as a company.
